Primary care

Primary care refers to the day-to-day healthcare you receive from your doctor. A primary care physician provides annual checkups, vaccines, physicals, care for minor injuries and illnesses and also helps facilitate specialized healthcare needs.

Primary care services for your family

We treat you like family, talking to you one-on-one so we can provide personalized care.

You'll find primary care physicians at our hospitals, walk-in clinics and care facilities across Western North Carolina. We offer preventive care, diagnostics and specialist referrals.

Conditions treated by our general practitioners

  • Asthma
  • Colds

Pediatric primary care

The same high-quality care available for adults is also available for your child. If your child has a mishap on the playground or experiences an injury from playing their favorite sport, our teams take care of their needs and involve pediatric specialists for advanced care when needed. If you need help to find a doctor for your child, one of our team members can help at (828) 213-1111.

Walk-in care

With walk-in clinic locations in Biltmore Park, Haywood, McDowell, Franklin and Spruce Pine, we provide access to the care you need. Many of our locations have onsite laboratory and imaging services to take care of your needs in one visit. We offer the convenience of scheduled, walk-in or virtual appointments for non-emergency daytime, after-hours and weekend care.
