About Bruce Israel, MD
Biography
I grew up in Asheville, and graduated from Oberlin College with a degree in Neuroscience and Neurobiology, then attended UNC-Chapel Hill Medical School. I did my residency at the University of Minnesota, then returned to Chapel Hill to do my Infectious Diseases Fellowship. When I had the opportunity to return to Asheville and join Asheville Infectious Disease Consultants, PA, in 2005, I was happy to take it.
