Our breast health services
Our providers use the latest diagnostic technology to get efficient, accurate results on your breast cancer screenings. Should you need treatment, we provide the care you need.
Breast cancer screenings
Early detection is key to catching breast cancer when it is most treatable. Annual mammograms (typically starting at 40 years old) are one of the best forms of preventive self-care. We use different types of imaging, depending on your breast density, family history and overall health. Our board-certified radiologists perform in-depth analysis of your images and still get your results as quickly as possible.
Our hospital has been accredited as a Diagnostic Imaging Center of Excellence by the American College of Radiology. National recognition such as this demonstrates our commitment to excellence in clinical care.
You can easily schedule your mammogram online using our registration feature.
3D whole breast ultrasound (ABUS)
Our hospital is committed to bringing the latest medical technology to the region for the betterment of the community. For women with dense tissue, it can be more difficult to see abnormalities in the breast. ABUS technology can work in conjunction with regular mammograms to increase the chances of detecting breast cancer early.
High-risk breast clinic
If you have a family history of breast cancer, or other factors that put you at high risk for breast cancer, we can help. Our high-risk breast clinic — available at the hospital and our Hope Women's Cancer Center — offers a thorough analysis of your medical history along with a breast exam. We create a comprehensive risk assessment that includes recommendations for screenings, scheduling future exams and risk reduction measures.
Breast cancer treatment
Should your screening detect breast cancer, the oncology care teams in our cancer program provide the compassionate, patient-focused you need in uncertain circumstances. After diagnosis, we schedule further testing to get more information about how to best treat you. Then, we create a personalized treatment plan that can combine multiple medical therapies, such as chemotherapy and surgery.
