Pediatric neurology rehab program
We offer several kinds of therapies, both inpatient and outpatient. These programs are designed to help your child improve functioning after acute treatment or a severe condition, such as a stroke. If your child needs more than one kind of therapy, our therapists will work with you on a treatment plan.
Physical therapy
Simply put, physical therapy helps your child move more easily. It focuses on gross motor skills (large movements) such as running and jumping, as well as balance and coordination. This can help your child return to their full abilities faster.
Occupational therapy
Pediatric occupational therapy helps your child strengthen fine motor skills, such as holding a fork or pencil. This can help your child become more independent at everyday tasks like dressing, bathing and doing homework.
Speech and language therapy
Speech and language therapy can help your child with communication problems. These include difficulties with language, being understood and understanding others. They can also help if your child has problems with eating and swallowing.

As part of your child's treatment plan, our registered dietitians will assess your child and provide medical nutrition therapy, counseling and guidance as your child recovers.
