We are here to assure your safety and well-being while in our facilities. To learn more about our safety measures or if you have questions about COVID-19, call 833-582-1974.

Visitor Restriction Level 2 Now in Place at Mission Health Hospitals

Mission Health will be moving to visitor restriction level 2, effective 9 am, Tuesday, June 23, 2020.

For the protection of our patients, staff and visitors, each patient will be limited to one (1) adult patient advocate per day between 9 am – 8 pm.

As a precaution, visitors will not be allowed for COVID-19-positive patients or with patients awaiting a COVID-19 test result. Additionally, there continues to be no visitation at the Eckerd Living Center on the Highlands-Cashiers Hospital campus.

In an effort to keep everyone safe, everyone who walks through our doors will be screened and masked.

We appreciate your patience and understanding during this time. Please note that electronic devices are available upon request to assist with virtual visitation.

In the meantime, we are here for you. Please don’t hesitate to reach out to us if there is anything we can do to help you feel more connected to your loved ones while you’re with us.

Mission Health Hospitals Are Safe

Most Mission Health hospitals will be resuming surgeries and procedures beginning Monday, May 4. On Tuesday, May 5, Mission Hospital in Asheville plans to reopen its Entrance 2 surgical waiting area in the North Tower for scheduled patients. All Mission Health facilities will be providing patients with specific instructions about where to arrive and what to expect.

Patients arriving for these procedures will be allowed to have one adult accompany them into the waiting area. All patients and their escorts will be screened and provided masks upon entry. The escorts will be able to assist patients in the waiting area and, if discharged the same day, will be with them at discharge as well. The escorts will have the option to wait outside the facility if they prefer, and will be called with updates when the procedure is complete. Each hospital may establish specific additional logistics for the escorts and will communicate that to them upon arrival.

Mission Health Practice Visitor Policy

With ongoing concerns regarding COVID-19, our Mission Health outpatient clinics continue to implement visitor restrictions. We ask that you do not bring a visitor with you to your appointments.

These restrictions apply to all patients except pediatrics and patients who require an essential support person to assist with understanding information vital to their care.

For the protection of our patients and staff, we want to continue to practice social distancing by keeping our waiting rooms clear. All patients will be screened upon arrival and required to wear a mask.
