Measuring Quality Care

Healthcare organizations measure quality in a variety of ways. Mission Health relies on patient experiences, outcomes, satisfaction scores and quality rankings to continue improving our coordination or care and the patient experience – one patient at a time.

Outcomes

Our BIG(GER) Aim is to get every person to their desired outcome, first without harm, also without waste and always with an exceptional experience for each person, family and team member. This drives our daily work to improve outcomes one patient at a time

Patient Experience

  • Patient Experience Surveys: Mission Health partners with Press Ganey to measure our quality reporting and obtain vital data and insight about our patients’ experiences with our hospitals, inpatient and outpatient services.
  • Mission Experience: Data provides actionable insight but nothing compares to our patients sharing their Mission Experience.

Research

Through our research, we advance the quality and safety of healthcare in patient care. Our Research Institute encourages, facilitates and supports high quality, collaborative research studies and clinical trials designed to improve human health.
